Bam Adebayo powered the Miami Heat past the Brooklyn Nets with a 110-95 victory, snapping their three-game losing streak. Adebayo delivered 17 of his 23 points in the second half, adding seven rebounds and seven assists, as Miami improved to 14-13 on the season.
The Heat’s bench contributed significantly, with Nikola Jovic scoring 18 points and Duncan Robinson adding 17 while shooting 5-for-10 from beyond the arc. Tyler Herro also recorded a double-double, finishing with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Brooklyn, now 11-18, struggled to maintain consistency despite strong performances from Cam Johnson and Noah Clowney, who each scored 19 points. Keon Johnson added 15, but the Nets fell apart in the fourth quarter, where they were outscored 27-17.
The Heat were without Jimmy Butler for the second consecutive game due to a stomach illness. Reserve guard Dru Smith left the game early in the second quarter with a lower left leg injury and did not return.
Miami capitalized on free-throw efficiency, going 21-for-24 from the line, with Adebayo converting 7-of-8 attempts. Brooklyn, despite closing the first half on a 17-6 run to pull within one point, could not keep pace in the final quarter. Miami stretched its lead to double digits early in the fourth and never looked back.
The Heat also displayed sharp three-point shooting, hitting 17-of-41 attempts, compared to Brooklyn’s 13-of-34.
