Kentucky basketball injury update: Lamont Butler leaves game after falling hard

LEXINGTON — Kentucky basketball star Lamont Butler fell hard to the floor with 8:40 remaining in Tuesday’s game against Tennessee.

He was helped to his feet and then walked back to the locker room without stopping.

Butler, the Wildcats‘ starting point guard, had sat out three games recently because of a shoulder injury.

At the time of his injury Tuesday, Butler had six points on 3-of-6 shooting to go along with four assists, three rebounds and three steals in 22 minutes.
