The No. 25 UConn men’s basketball team is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 1 when the Huskies travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to meet No. 9 Marquette in a Big East Conference battle.
Marquette improved to 9-1 in league play with a 78-69 win over Butler on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles continue to own a share of first place with St. John’s entering play Saturday afternoon.
UConn (15-6, 7-3 Big East) defeated DePaul, 72-61, on Wednesday night at the XL Center. The Huskies rallied from a 14-point deficit in the first half.
Solo Ball and Tarris Reed Jr. scored 16 points apiece, while Jaylin Stewart added 15 points. Aidan Mahaney also scored in double-figures with 10 points off the bench.
The win was UConn’s 20th straight against DePaul.
